Before going to sea, check that you have adequate ropes on board the vessel for the variety of tasks that they may be called for.
Ropes can be used for:
- Slings
- Safety lines
- Towing another vessel or yours!
- Anchor ropes
- Mooring lines at the pontoon
You can never have too many!
And make sure they are suitable for the task.
For every rope, there is likely to be a knot used to secure the line.
